I am a people person. I love solo time with my flowers but a lot of the time floristry can be a bit of a lone ranger job with me being the last person left on the tools in the studio late at night making sure everything is perfect for the wedding the following day. That is why I love doing workshops for beginners so much. As an extraverted person it gives me + my team the chance to enjoy getting together to have a chat with a bunch of lovely ladies who are keen to get a little creative whilst enjoying a glass of champagne + not taking themselves too seriously. It is an opportunity for me to play with flowers whilst sharing the tricks to the trade in a low pressure environment. Here at Sea Of Love we do flower crown, bouquet + table arrangement workshops in Perth for private groups along with sometimes hosting these ourselves for the public to attend (our Dried Xmas Wreath Workshops are currently up in our shop with just a few spots left).

This weekend just gone I had the absolute pleasure of teaching a flower crown class for much loved Perth mummy blogger + influencer Kyree Harvey of @misskyreeloves. It was for her baby sprinkle event to celebrate the soon to be arrival of her second little bubba. All the ladies were enjoying a beautiful low long table lunch so I brought the creative activity to them. I arrived half way through the event to teach them how to make their very own floral headpiece. It was a super relaxed atmosphere with each of the women picking their favourite flowers + sitting down with one another to make something special. It is the perfect ice breaker for those that don’t know one another really well and a real bonding experience between the closest of friends. Every one of them ended up with a unique flower crown with no 2 being exactly the same. Here are some pics of the event sent to me by Kyree that I thought I would share with you all, especially for those who are considering our mobile crown workshop for a future celebration.
